유류세 인하, 7월 31일까지 연장…"국민 유류비 부담 완화 총력"

정부는 국민 유류비 부담 완화를 위해 지난 3월 27일 2차 최고가격 적용에 맞춰 휘발유·경유 유류세 한시 인하기간을 연장하고, 인하폭도 휘발유는 7%에서 15%, 경유는 10%에서 25%로 각각 확대한 바 있다.

6월 이후에도 휘발유는 15%, 경유는 25%의 인하율을 유지해 휘발유는 리터당 122원, 경유 145원 수준 인하 효과를 이어갈 계획이다. 특히, 산업·물류 등에 필수적인 경유에 높은 인하폭을 적용했다.

한편 22일 0시부터 적용될 6차 최고가격은 국제유가 추이, 민생과 재정부담 등을 종합적으로 감안해 이날 오후 7시에 발표할 예정이다.
