정부, GTX 삼성역 구간 안전점검 실시…시공 오류 원인 조사

[사건의내막 / 문홍철 기자] = 국토교통부와 행정안전부가 시공오류가 발생한  GTX 삼성역 구간에 대해 지난 21일부터 정부합동 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

 

이번 정부합동 안전점검은 재난 및 안전관리 기본법에 따른 것으로 2개 분야, 3개조, 총 40인 규모의 '정부합동점검단'을 구성해 진행된다.

 

정부합동점검단에는 국토부, 행안부 등 관계기관과 한국산업안전 보건공단, 한국전기안전공사, 한국가스안전공사, 국토안전관리원, 철도기술연구원, 국가철도공단 등 다양한 분야의 전문기관 및 외부전문가가 참여하며, 점검의 객관성을 위해 민간전문가를 단장으로 해 운영한다.

정부합동점검단은 대형 안전사고 방지 차원에서 현 사업장의 분야별 안전관리 실태를 철저히 파악하고, 시공·건설관리 등 건설 과정 전반의 적정성을 점검해 시공오류 원인을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

 

건설 중인 사업장의 긴급한 안전실태 확인을 위해 공사장 안전분야 안전실태 점검은 조속히 마무리할 계획이며, 시공건설분야 점검은 엄정한 원인 분석을 위해 약 2개월 간 이어질 예정이다.

 

앞서 국토교통부는 지난 18일 건설기술 진흥법 제54조에 따라 특별 현장점검단을 구성하여 점검에 착수했고 21일부터는 정부합동점검단에 포함되어 보다 폭넓게 이루어질 예정이다.

 

정부는 이번 정부합동 안전점검을 통해 시공오류가 발생한 영동대로 3공구 지하 5층 뿐 아니라 영동대로 전체 현장의 건설 중인 모든 시설을 철저히 점검한다는 계획이다.
