외교부에 따르면 지난 26일 발간된 '국민주권정부 123대 국정과제 추진 실적' 및 '국민주권정부 38대 대표 성과' 등 1주년 성과자료집에는 외교 분야에서 5개 주요 성과가 포함됐다.
특히 38대 대표 성과 중 외교 관련은 경주 아시아태평양경제협력체(APEC) 글로벌 기업 90억 달러 투자계획 발표, 미중일 3국과 정상외교 전면 복원 및 실질 협력 강화 등 2개가 있다.
◆ 국익 중심 실용외교…주변 4개국과 관계 증진
이재명정부 출범 이후 147일 최단 기간 내 한미 정상 상호방문을 완성하고 '한미 정상회담 공동 설명자료(Joint Fact Sheet)' 발표를 통해 핵추진 잠수함 운영과 우리 자체 농축·재처리 권한에 대한 미국 측 공개 지지를 최초로 확보하는 등 한미 동맹의 전략적 협력을 본격 추진하기 위한 추동력을 마련했다.

올해 9월 미국 조지아주에서 한국 국민이 구금된 지 1주일 만에 귀국을 희망한 316명 전원이 전세기를 통해 무사히 귀국하도록 지원했다.
캄보디아 현지 공관에서 접수한 스캠 범죄 관련 피해 신고는 올해 1분기에 작년 동기 대비 약 92% 감소했다.
