GS25, in partnership with the National Statistical Office, is operating a triangular kimbap product with a QR code (information pattern) printed on it that allows participants to participate in the ‘2020 Population and Housing Census’ survey by the end of November.
Samgak Gimbap (the national representative Samgak Gimbap) was selected as a sample in the Population and Housing Census, and the meaning of the representativeness of the Tuna Mayo Samgak Gimbap, the No.1 sales of GS25's Samgak Gimbap, and 20% of Korea's households participating in the survey. It is a packaged product.
National representative Samgak Kimbab also serves as a customer-participating donation platform. When customers who purchase the product earn GS&POINT membership, a donation stamp is provided through The Pop mobile app (formerly my own refrigerator). When a customer presses the donation stamp, 500 won is raised as a donation, and a GS25 mobile gift certificate 500 won is also provided to the customer.
The national representative Samgak Gimbap is limited to 170,000 pieces, and the donations raised through this will be donated as a damage recovery fund to rural and fishing villages affected by flood damage this summer.
